NO-ONE*EVER*REALLY*DIES...DEAD.

The amount of times I got told: "STOP PUSHING, CALM DOWN" last night was was ridiculous. These dilluded girls who came dressed up in heels and face masks thinkin Pharell will spot them and wife them, were so adoment i was in the wrong for moshing out in a mosh pit. Since the first Gig I went to in February 2003, the first they did in the U.K alot has changed. It was way more underground and raw/real back then. All about the music and how it effected you.

I got rather aggrivated that people stood next to me in the crowd did not even know what the first album was called and where telling me what to do.

Im an avid fan of N*E*R*D and not just Pharell, even though I do admire his work and talent, im there for the music the buzz the adrenalin that keeps you bouncing for 2 hours in heat more accustomed to the sahara dessert, whilst sweating like Gary Glitter in a Playgound.

At the signing Shae just walked out casually and no one batted an eyelid!! whats that all about!!!

The best thing to come out the of Gig last night was my boy Lee A TRUE FAN getting picked out by Pharell and Shae to get on stage to skank out to LapDance.

Chad was not there last night, which strengthened rumours of a split and also Shae and Pharell left in seperate vehicles to the concert and seemed distant both at the signing and on stage.
Also Pharell's cardigan is Ralph Lauren, his tash and scruffy vans seemed he was going 'back to his skater roots' his look when wearing vintage Levi's and Led Zeppelin t-shirts.

Anyhow now that I have finished ranting, the days activities were somewhat more fun then the nights:

Kristin was missing home so she got some £10 Norwegian water.

Druh Belts & Buckles

Golf and Fashion these days seem to go hand in hand, also interesting how it has evolved over the years. The whole preppy look has took streetwear by storm and the influence of argyle and plaid and lightweight knits, it seems pretty acceptable for us to all dress as if were going to hit a few balls at the local golf club. Its a good look and all Golfers are at it. From Ian Poulters over the top crap to the well turned out Jesper Parnavik.

Another Professional Golfer who does not mind a bit colour co-ordination is my cousin 'Frog' Matharu. Everything matches up from his Puma stripe to his Ping embroidered cap, he also brought to my attention Druh Belts and Buckles

"even you will like these"

That I did. Handmade, they come in variation of quality leathers. Ostrich, Crocodile, Snakeskin amongst other unique finishes, in varied colourways. Width size 1" or 2". It also has popper buttons so you can attach whichever belt buckle you wish:

pretty dope! rock wit ya sagging jeans or your tailored clubhouse pants!

Crocodile leather Salmon 1" simple buckle is my combo!

HULL CITY 2 - FULHAM 1

This was a good result in more ways then one.

First game of the season for newly promoted Hull, and back in the Premiership for my childhood buddy Caleb Folan. Growing up playing together from the age of 10, for our district side Leeds City Boys, and Leeds United Academy then the Youth Team and Reserves, it was a special moment when I heard he grabbed the winner after coming on as substitute!

Foli blessed with great ability and natural athletisism has a promising season ahead of him, lets hope he hits that 20 goal mark this season. Injury Free!!!

Street Art & Street&Studio @ Tate Modern

Street this Street that. Here is some more Urban Art. Exhibition: Street Art the first major museum display of Street Art in London. They invited 6 artists including Os Gémeos from Sau Paulo, Brazil. Who collaborated with Nike SB a few years back

Street Art for me is part of a culture that dates back to the early eighties, on the streets of New York. It should be acknowledged as a talent and not a criminal activity.
WORD!

Fashion V Sport @ The Victoria & Albert Museum

For me this was a slight let down.

My collection will fit somewhere in between Fashion and Sport/Street rather then performance so I thought it would be something quite worthwhile going to. It was informative but really only confirmed what I already knew, not saying im a Mr Know-it-all, just an enthusiast of this area of fashion. Altho I did learn a few interesting facts:

Did you know that Cole Haan had collaborated with Nike to make a cushioned heeled womens sling back shoe, and also Cameroon were fined for their Puma UniqT kit. An all-in-one kit which disobeyed FIFA's rules that a kit should consist of socks, shorts and shirt.

A few pics. sorry for quality as they were done on the sly! GET ME BLUD!!

It also confirmed Hiroshi Fujiwara is the Top Dawwwggg!

Fashion in the Mirror @ The Photographers Gallery

William Klein

Trying to get in with the 'IN CROWD'

Tim Walker

Nick Knight

"An absorbing new exhibition, Fashion in the Mirror, at the Photographers' Gallery in London, exposes some of the off-frame drama that happens in the process of creating a fashion image."

A skill that I would like to educate myself more a bout. The Exhibition was all about Self-Reflection in Fashion Photography. A hehind the scenes look at what goes on, a shot before the shot so to speak.

A new name to me was Tim Walker whose shots for Vogue were very intriguiging through the use of his oversized props. William Klein shot Karl Lagerfeld surrounded by people carrying placards with his photograph

Another image that caught my eye for non perv reasons was Green Bath by Harri Peccinott

"So I climbed up there above the bathtub and I saw my reflection on the water, right on the model's pubis. I asked the girl to lie very still, waited for the image to settle, and shot. For a self portrait, I find it quite flattering."

some more PASTELLE.

I have eagerly awaited Kanye's first collection, which im pretty sure will be a success. Even tho he has a 'MARMITE' persona, im a fan of his love for design within many genres. Together with Kim Jones, a combintaion that will definately have a positive impact in the world of Fashion, Pastelle has said to be affordable and made from an electic choice of quality fabrics, an eye for detail, structured and subtle garments.

A few more pics have surfaced from what looks like Pastelle's star studded Look-Book.
