Im feeling this collection by the Parisian based brand. Looks like they have used quality in both production and materials, with some nice colour combintaions and cut and sew pieces. Take a look:

Like it states not a practical wearable shoe. But would look great in the glass cabinet!Tinker Hatfields drawings would be quite a piece to have also aswell as one shoe. the auction is not for a pair....

Nike Vandal Vintage. The first retro was not great as it did not have the parachute material but this retro feels like I have kept them in my loft since 1985. They recieved the vintage treatment from Nike which seems to be popular right now, leaving regular shoppers wondering:

why would you pay extra money for a pair of trainers that look 20 years old?

I often get called a coconut cause im not really into Bhangra music and the only time u see me "twisting lightbulbs" is a at family parties and indian weddings. Dont get me wrong I know where my roots lye but the bollywood scene it dont really appeal to me.
But this track by Asha Bhosle is BIGGG!!! A hit in the 1970's, The song was picturized on Zeenat Aman.

Dum Maro Dum in Hindi means :दम मारो दम, "Take another toke!"

Liquid Light.

I came across this image and was intrigued. Done with a technique called Liquid Light creates a interesting black and white effect.

Footpatrol x SIZE?

So we all know Footpatrol has closed down.... but what will it become?

Well it has been bought by SIZE?.



Rumour has it :) that it will re-open as a Tier0 account holder, and stock Japanese brands such as Headporter, NBHD, Undercover amongst others im sure. SIZE? will most likely have good links with Michael Koppleman now so expect good things to come, for all you Japanese streetwear lovers.

iPHONE 3G couple of days early.

Im a sucker for Apple products and the iphone 3g was going to be my next purchase. It arrived a couple of days early thanks to a fellow RSM :)

On first look it definatley looked wider, and when measured up to the old one it was. The monochromatic plastic back is a defo winner, and is slightly more curved then the old making it a more Ergonomic design.

Out with the old in with the new:

PASTEL clothing first showing.

Kanye Wests label I eagerly await, after seeing pictures of him picking fabric swatches in Japan and his close affiliation with KAWS, NIGO, his love for fashion, and passion for design, makes me think there will be a few pieces in the collection that i will desire.



It initially reminds me of KID ROBOTS helmet and then makes me think of FHI, Futura's collaboration with Maharishi. Im into the fabric use and hope there are some amazing concepts to come with the collection.

DQM x NEW ERA

So the whole gingham check, plaid has been huge trend this season from the catwalk to the street, and now somewhat overdone and maybe coming to an end as the boys at BNTL made ever so more apparent. Sayin that the new DQM hats are pretty dope. Carrying on the love for this trend they will be releasing the "dress shirt collection"








NEXT TREND PREDICTION: preppy sports chic; tennis, cricket knits, college blazers, slacks, penny loafers tassels prefered! brands like lacoste ralph lauren vintage. think Oxford University meets Jamal Shabazz.

Sunday Movie

This weeks classic film choice was Fast Times at Ridge Mont High.



starring a young Sean Penn this is just easy old school viewing, perfect for Sunday night chiller! Like vintage equivalent of American Pie, it follows the lives of a group of students in there freshmen year, Sean Penn popping open his fresh new checkboard vans and ordering Pizza to his classroom, and not forgettin the imaginary pool scene by Phoebe Cates :)
